Shannon McRoberts steals from her husband!

 

“Come in!” I yell to Shannon McRoberts. 

“I can’t my hands are full!”

Curious, I open my attic door to find a very cold Shannon standing there with an armful of Klondike bars. “Hurry up, my husband hasn’t noticed them missing yet.”

“My kinda girl!” I grab a few relieving her arms of a pending frostbite. “Come and sit and introduce yourself to our audience.”

Who are you and where did you come from?

My name is Shannon McRoberts and I came from my mommy’s tummy a long, long time ago  😉   I currently reside in Kentucky with my husband and daughter.

 

Obviously you’re a writer, what is the name of your book and the general plot?

I have several books The Secret of Genetic Corp X, Erosion of the Heart, Verses of Athine, Athine Verses:  The Beginning, and several short eBook stories.  However, the book I am promoting at the moment is Verses of Athine.  This book contains books 1 through 4 in the Daughter of Ares Chronicles.  The plot revolves around Athine and her journey towards obtaining her destiny.  Was she born to save the world or destroy it?

 

Where did you come up with the idea?

I was home on maternity leave and the character idea for a “Daughter of Ares” came to my mind.  I blame it on too much Magic The Gather, D&D, Xena, Buffy, and Wonder Woman 🙂

 

Which of your characters do you like the most and why?

I love Athine because she is the first unique character I created for a series.

 

Which one do you hate the most and why?

Well, I don’t really hate any of my creations.  I did hate Bradley in The Secret of Genetic Corp X, but he was written to be hated!

 

You’re stranded on an island and you are granted three things;

An IPod with only one song loaded, what is it?

 

A remix of all my favorite songs smashed into one….although that might sound really weird!

 

A book with the last chapter missing, what is it and who wrote it?

That would be my book that I am working on and being on the island would allow me to finish it!

Good idea!

 

And a lunchbox with a sandwich and a full thermos, yummy, what kind of sandwich and drink would you appreciate?

I would like an icy cold Coca-Cola and a great ham sandwich with cheese, lettuce, onions, and mayo on white bread.

 

 

What is the biggest mistake you have made in your life? Not writing or publishing mistake – any mistake. Even if it happened in 3rd grade, I wanna know about it.

 

I’m old.  I have made a lot of them.  One of them being not listening to the advice of my mother….I don’t want to get into specifics, but you should always listen to your mother!

 

 

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

Go to the freezer and sneak it away before my husband saw it.  They are usually his bars LOL.

 

I have to do the same thing!

 

 

You’re still stranded on that island and two people show up, the character you love the most, and the one you hate the most, and they both know what you said about them. What do you do?

 

Well if that were true then I could conjure up a magic dragon and fly away, now couldn’t I? LOL!

Like I said.  I am old.  I have a lot of memories too and I could not single any one out to be my favorite.
