Atty's Attic

My attic is dusty and has a plethora of junk in it. I must say it's a fun place to hang out and look at what's rolling around in my head. If you don't mind the dust, I'd love to have you.

A Day Off

Ahhh, a day off. How I love thee. Today the schools are running a two hour delay due to the frigid temperatures. I guess zero degrees is too cold but three degrees is okay. Either way I couldn’t go to work because my three hour drive there and back makes for a short work day. So today is a day off which means laundry, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting my son’s toilet. ewwww.  What it actually means is I get time to work on book two of My Beautiful Suicide. Hilda, Cosette, Chris and Mattie have yelled at me all week and I need to shut them up. I miss them and they miss me. Cosette has not been thinking clearly and I need to straighten her out.

When your characters yell at you, how do you respond?

  1. I wish my characters would yell at me more often… maybe then I would finish my novel more quickly 😉
